The Digital Skills Workshop Series - part of Alaska Startup Week 2020 - will help entrepreneurs grow and strengthen their online presence and digital skills. This series is being organized by the University of Alaska Center for Economic Development, in partnership with the Anchorage Community Land Trust and Spruce Root.
Over the past three years, the Anchorage Community Land Trust (ACLT) has worked with over 100 food-industry entrepreneurs in their flagship small business development program, Set Up Shop. Many of these entrepreneurs are at the earliest stages of their business, operating at events and selling under cottage food licenses. In this presentation they will outline the basics for launching and scaling a successful food-industry business in Anchorage. We will explore strategies for success in transitioning from Cottage Foods to Wholesale, managing an online sales platform, and maintaining a consistent customer base.
Speakers: Nick Bachman, Radhika Krishna and Caitlin Taylor from ACLT.
