The Digital Skills Workshop Series - held during Alaska Startup Week - will help entrepreneurs grow and strengthen their online presence and digital skills. This series is being organized by the University of Alaska Center for Economic Development, in partnership with the Anchorage Community Land Trust and Spruce Root.
With the use of social media on the rise during the pandemic, businesses all over the world are utilizing social media more than ever to reach existing customers and leads. During this session, led by
Inmaly Inthaly from Star Assist, we’ll learn about the basics of social media, with a focus on Instagram and Facebook, for business owners who want to establish and build brand awareness in the digital space. You’ll learn about the importance of developing a social media marketing strategy and identifying your target market. You’ll walk away with knowledge about useful tools to help your social media efforts stay organized and timely to avoid the efforts becoming burdensome on you as a business owner.
Speaker: Inmaly Inthaly is the owner of
Star Assist, LLC. She is a Laotian/Thai American and was born in Minnesota, but considers Anchorage, Alaska her home. With over 8 years of experience in the administrative and executive support fields, she left her full-time job as an executive assistant and founded Star Assist, LLC, which has served over 19 businesses. In February 2020, Inmaly was nominated and then awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Anchorage Community Land Trust. Inmaly has been featured on The Millennial CEO and Virtual Assistants Brunch podcasts. She is the mother of two little humans who enjoy having countless singing and dancing jam sessions. Outside of her career, Inmaly is also passionate about discovery and sharing new music, and cooking homemade meals for others as a way to connect.
